Why no Antarctica on the otherwise excellent map?

Heck I've been there and it does not even show - but relatively small specks on the map like CUBA, the FALKLANDS and GUAM all do for goodness sake!

Any chance of re-drawing the map to show this massive Continent seeing this great site seems to focus on geography and places? :)

We're on the case.

Yes, it doesn't seem fair, does it, going all the way to Antarctica and not being able to see it on your map. So we're going to do something about it. And while we're at it, we'll put on all the other countries (British Indian Ocean Territory, Macau, Hong Kong, Channel Islands etc.) that are missing...

Antarctic Peninsula added to the map

Following your suggestion, we've added the Antarctic Peninsula to the map...

A start ..................

Thanks. Beggars can't be choosers. :-)

Many folks have visited the McMurdo or Scott Bases of course so this little speck is pretty geographically worthless to them and quite inaccurate. Was there a tech issue with actually showing the CONTINENT of Antarctica?

How come Antarctica as a continent warrants a tiny red speck on your "Globe" whereas visiting St Petersburg or Vancouver or Disneyland Reds in VAST slabs of your "globe????? Does not make a lot of sense if you think on it.
