Hi! Would you ever think about making a map for the US states which people
have visited? I think that could be an interesting addition if you like
it. In some senses, the US states are like Europe (in the sense that there
are so many small areas so close together). Thanks for the great website! I
love it!
Hi there
Hi there
Good idea. It's something we'll think about... if there's enough interest. In the meantime, we're working on a feature where you can record at a more local level where you are (including in which state).
We'll let you know when we're up and running with this...
Thanks!

Individual states
Why not split the UK up in to it's counties, German lander, Swiss cantons, Aussie states/ territories Indonesia / Phillipine islands etc etc. Who knows we could score 2 or 3 thousand different hits. Where do you end. I've done 49 US states.
US States
I joined yesterday and was going to suggest the very same thing. I would love to have a map of US states I have visted - managed to pass the half way mark a couple of weeks ago.

Will a state count as a country?
Because that way I can increase my rating, significantly. I think I've been to about 35-40 states already :)
I love the US and the way you can travel there and the scenerey every 150-200 miles it's different except for boring ole Texas.
US States
Hello all!
We're planning to add not only the states of the U.S., but also the regions, states, and so on for many other countries. Stay tuned, and thanks for using the site!

I agree
It would be great if we could break these countries out into regions (states, provinces, etc) or even major cities. Thanks.
states
I would love that.
it's not just about rankings
I think it would be better not to count regions/states as countries. It could be a subcategory with a sub ranking for all of those rank freaks. And you could add another color on the red map to show how much of a country people have actually seen.
And it would be great if the regional option would be also possible for the home country. Don't underestimate local journeys.
