Why are Bouvet Island, French Southern Territories and Heard Island and McDonald Islands grouped in the Region Southern Africa?
Is seems much more logical to group them in the region Antarctica. If
not then at least Heard Island and McDonald Islands belongs in the
Region Australia. But Antarctica seems much more appropriate.
The seems no reason neither geographical or political to include any of them them in Southern Africa.

Visiting Herad Island, Bouvet Island

Regarding Bouvet Island and also Heard Island and MacDonald Islands: Bouvet Island in particular is virtualy inaccessible. Would sailing close past count as a visit? Or is it necessary to actualy go ashore there? If going ashore is necessary I fear no member wil ever be able to count this one.

Best trip

Africa is a wonderful place to explore wildlife. Recently am planning a trip to Africa especially I would like to visit Mt. KIlimanjaro and here the Lemosho route to Mt. Kilimanjaro is sooo interesting so I would prefer to go from there. I would also like to explore jungles of Africa on safari. It is also a great spot for adventurous activities like trekking, camping, hiking, skiing, etc. You can also have a picturesque views over here: http://www.ekoventure.com/trips/africa-tanzania-kilimanjaro_national_park-climbing-hiking-mountaineering-photography-trekking-exploration-active_sport-acacia-sun-adventures-16098
Nice no??

Bouvet

It is true that Bouvet is not an easy place to visit. But, on March 10, 2006, I did spent a few hours on the island with another member. On
that day 18 passengers from our ship actually went ashore. A few more went ashore the following day. It was a very difficult landing
and even more difficult to get off. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather which is very rare. I would suggest sailing close would not
count as a visit; particularly since so many have set foot on Bouvet. I am one who believes physical contact of any place is required
before it "counts".

Bouvet

Were you on the same trip as Messrs Shea, Langan, Stephenson et al from the TCC when one of the dinghys was flipped ?

Will let you know soon

I have no idea about this but will definitely discuss it with my friends and get back to you.
