Saint Martin and the other French dependencies
Hi! I was just gonna let you know, that neither Saint Martin nor Guadeloupe have ever been independent nations! Guadeloupe is an overseas departement of France, as are Martinique and French Guyana. All of them are considered being part of mainland France. Their citizens are French and they are part of the EU. It's as if you woud consider Hawai'i an independent nation. As with Saint Martin, it was never related to Guadeloupe but is an island that's been devided between France and the Netherlands. The Dutch part is called Sint Marteen but it's still the same place, basically. As of today, both island parts are not independent nations.
Netherland Antilles
I wonder if you've thought about the breakup of the Netherlands Antilles yet? Expected in December 15 2008.
