By definition, Passportstamp should allow us to add any countries we've been to, as well as places that are stamped in our passport, correct? And these two points aren't always related. For instance, if I peer into my passport now, I spy a recent stamp that says Machu Picchu. Therefore, I would like to add this place to my list! Are there any other places in the world that give you a PassportStamp?
on my travels in Peru I also
on my travels in Peru I also got a stamp for the Tambopata area of the Amazon River near Puerto Maldonado as we were entering a national park.
(Places other than countries)
Hmm, interesting proposition. On the one hand, as potentially any 'tourist destination' could start issuing stamps for passports, we would end up with a virtually infinitely long list of 'destinations'. I believe there is another site for 'places' (towns etc.) visited, but its name escapes me.
Custom and practice sems to have established Passportstamp as operating strictly at the "Country" level, against a particular (but not the only possible valid, don't get me started), stable, well-defined list of 'countries' (, dependencies, etc.). This does change, but (I think) only when a territory gains independence, e.g. Montenegro from Serbia recently.
