hey,
i cant set my current location as being Guernsey, Channel Islands, it's
only coming up with US places..but im not there! :D if you could add
Guernsey CI onto the list that'd be awsome! thanks, x

We've listed place names (millions of them), so if you search for the town/village that you're in, you should find the place, and you can then set that as your current location. Let us know if a place isn't there, and we'll find the closest.
