Kurdistan

Kurdistan should be a country it has its own army, Parliament, ministries, flag, language and ethnicity. I work in Kurdistan and it definitely feels like a different country to Baghdad.

Kurdistan

It's an autonomous region of Iraq as Scotland is part of the UK!
The good thing is that you get a different stamp if you cross into Kurdistan directly.

Kurdistan is not on ISO 3166

Just like England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland ... Kurdistan is not on the International Standards Organisation [an independent international body] list of country codes ISO 3166

Kurdistan, for me, it is a country

Apart from ISOs and official matters, Kurdistan is divided in four countries, major part in Turkey. They are opresed.
