Has anyone here (who is either very brave or incredibly silly) walked the Camino del Rey in Spain?
Looks pretty incredible...although not something you'd get me doing...
Apparently the walkway was built to provide workers with easy access between the Chorro Falls and Gaitanejo Falls. Nowadays it's supposed closed (as a result of several deaths in recent years) and has therefore fallen into disrepair as noone is maintaining it. Tourists still access it though, as can be shown by the video link! In some places only a steel bar remains and balancing your way across this is the only way to continue along the path.
I wouldn't recommend watching the video link if you don't have a head for heights. I don't think I'd walk it myself but would be interested in going to see it anyway (from a safe vantage point)!
Crazy
Looks like a crazy level on Half Life 2 (the computer game). Really, it made my knees wobble just looking at that guy walking over the rusty poles without any safety equipment as far as I could see...
camino del rey
I was there last year and though it is possible to walk on some stretches, it is impassable in bits unless you are a skilled climber/mountaineer/abseiler. The part near the famous "von ryans express " stretch is particularly damaged though the footpath leading to it was being repaired in october 07.

Yep.
My wife and I walked it's full length in each direction. We were in the area on a climbing trip.
