It is also known as rice bowl of central India, this newly carved state Chhattisgarh was ealier a part of the state of Madhya Pradesh in India.

Chattisgarh in Hindi means land of thirty six forts and rightly so albeit there more than this number of forts and places put together. Kawardha is one such example.

Mowgli the wolf child was discovered by Lt.Moor in a village near Pench tiger reserve at Seoni Hills In the Central Indian State of Madhya Pradesh. Seoni hills and its amazing wildlife is best described by Capt Forsyth in his book the "Highland of Central India". Kipling too has given a fantasy account of wildlife of Seoni Hills in his book "Jungle BooK" based on Mowgli the wolf child.

It is now in the wonders of the world. A monument devoted to love. I was hesitating when my family asked me that we should visit the Taj since we would be spending a day in Agra. My travel agent informed me that we have few hours before we  drove to  the  Corbett  Tiger Reserve.
